THE PHOTO ACADEMY London

London may not be the capital of the EU anymore but it is still the world’s most buzzing city! It has an enormous variety of things to offer, including our specialised photography courses and online courses. With inhabitants from all over the world, London is a true melting pot of cultures and ideas. So, it's time to grab your camera and explore!

What to Photograph in your city?

Photography is one of the best ways to experience the city, whether it be snapping iconic landmarks or hidden, local spots. Londoners love to take photos and who can blame them! The coolest photographs of all time were taken here: the Beatles crossing Abbey Road or the album cover of Pink Floyd's 'Animals', anyone? London has it all: opulence, grittiness and even stunning natural landscapes.

There is no boring borough in London so capture the community and vibrancy of your neighbourhood. If you can't make it in person, our online courses will teach you to see in a new and exciting way. Discover fresh perspectives that will change the way you see the city, even when riding the Tube!

Friends or family coming to visit? Take them to your favourite London museums and galleries, and use the opportunity to capture amazing shots and impress them with your newfound talent.

In our opinion, the British Museum stands out from a photography perspective. That’s because of the gorgeous juxtaposition with the modern glass ceiling against centuries old buildings. It might just be the best ceiling in London. Plus the light is amazing, if by some miracle you make it on a sunny day!

Here's an insider tip: the best angle can be found near the entrance and up two flights of stairs. Now you’ll have an awesome view over the museum. Make sure to bring a good wide angle lens to properly capture the entire scene.

Have you previously visited London as a photographer and know a great secret spot for other photographers that’s not marked on our list? Let us know, and we’ll share your addition in this article!
