What you'll be able to do

There are many reasons why you might prefer a private lesson instead of a group session... If you want to work on a specific photographic theme, solve a particular problem with shooting or editing, or if you simply don't want to follow the rhythm of a group, then chose a one-to-one course!

How it works?

  • For 1 to 3 people
  • Propose several choices of dates, and our team will get back to you.
  • The session lasts 2.5h and will take place entirely by videoconference, via the ZOOM platform.

Please note that we do NOT lend cameras or accessories

What you get?

By opting for an individual session, you get personalisation and exclusivity; your teacher will be eager to respond to your request, solve your problems and sharpen your photographic skills, all thanks to a learning process adapted to your rhythm.

In order for this course to be as efficient as possible, and for you to get the most out of it, it is important that you specify the following when you make your reservation request:

  • The subject you wish to cover during this 2.5-hour session. Tell us everything: what you wish to develop, the problem you would like to solve. It could be a technical problem on your camera, a theme to explore such as portraiture, or retouching your images.
  • The number of participants. You can be accompanied by 2 other people of your choice.
  • Choose a topic and send it to to [email protected] at least 48h before your course date

What to know before booking

Bring your camera (DSLR or mirrorless) and its charger. Speedlights and light shapers are lent on site. If you own your own flash, bring it along — Inès will help you configure it.
Yes. The group is limited to 6 people and the course starts from the basics of flash photography. No prior flash experience is required: you just need to know how to turn on your camera.
Meet at Place Sainte-Catherine in Brussels, in front of the church. The exact meeting point and Inès's number are sent to you by email once your booking is confirmed.
The course goes ahead in overcast or light rain — flash photography shines when natural light is scarce. In case of severe weather, Inès will offer you another date free of charge.
Yes. Choose the gift card option at checkout: the recipient receives a voucher valid for one year and picks their own date.
Free cancellation up to 14 days before the course starts: you are fully refunded. This policy applies to all The Photo Academy courses, without exception.
