Adeel Jawed

Adeel Jawed is a Calgary based photographer who loves spending time capturing the beauty of nature, people and everyday items. His love affair with photography began at a young age but he became serious about it when he bought his first DSLR 12 years ago. He finds photography therapeutic and stress relieving and enjoys the process of creating images rather than taking snapshots. Being curious by nature, he loves experimenting with different styles of photography and is always on the lookout for new techniques in image capture, lighting or editing. He also loves studying the work of other great photographers and expanding his knowledge of this amazing field of art.

He loves to share his passion of photography with others and wants them to develop a photographic intent before they press the shutter button. He enjoys helping his students understand that their cameras work best when they move away from the Auto button.
