to have 4 courses in one day was far too much especially as a non camera technical person

I have had Nick for 3 of my modules , I also have him for my 4th one . He has been brilliant and patient even for a complete newbie like me . Highly recommend him .

My courses have been cancelled on numerous occasions and as I wanted to complete the courses before a trip I had to ask for my last 2 courses to take place on 1 day. 2 courses that were originally due to take 2.5 hours each were crammed into one 2.5 hour session. I don't believe the Photo Academy is good value for money, I am very disappointed with the amount of money I have paid for courses to be cancelled at short notice and I wasn't able to actually have a photo course for over 2 months due to cancellations. If the instructor didn't do such a good job in the short time frame I would definitely be asking for a refund.

After many false starts and reschedules I finally had my course with Miki. He was a great teacher and I now feel inspired with my camera

Even allowing for the Covid restrictions given the original course booking was March 2020 and the number of cancellations of rebooked course due to "lack of participants" I would find it difficult to recommend you to a friend. I do acknowledge that you have always been helpful when I have contacted you, suggested alternative courses and provided the one-to-one course (which was excellent) I attended following the problem in December.

The late evening was not an ideal time.

Great day, but there was a lot of walking around Manchester which you should note because anyone with motability issues would struggle. But I am looking forward to my next classes

Lewis was organized and hard working throughout the day. He was generous in lending me his camera as the battery had run low on mine. He imparted his knowledge of photography in a creative and innovative way and the session was varied and interesting. Thank you

Lewis was great. He worked around our individual styles helping to improve our knowledge and techniques. He is a genuine guy with a love of both photography and teaching that makes it a pleasure to be his student.

The course made me ill because of the horrible weather, I left after 10 minutes in the morning, Lewis asked me to re-arrange and I am trying to contact you without any luck

Lewis brought camera work to life, he made taking pictures exciting and showed us techniques that made previously sterile images really pop and look good.

Lewis was a fantastic teacher of photography and was a wealth of knowledge on how to take a good picture, he provided many tips and it felt like the quality of my photos went from amateur to professional in the space of one day. More so than that he was a genuinely nice bloke, provided a lot of encouragement and I found his passion for photography infectious throughout the day. Definitely felt like I got more than my money's worth from the course and would recommend to other amateur photographers.

I think Lewis was a good instructor, I really liked his teaching style. He challenged and encouraged us. I'd definitely recommend him to other people.
