Giuseppe was a very accommodating teacher who I enjoyed meeting. The content of the course was limited - which was good. Otherwise there would be too much to take in. It was a shame Giuseppe's lap top battery ran out so we could not analyse the photos we took.

No indoor venue was allocated during the lessons which resulted in most of the day spent outside in 5 degrees with only a small section of the teaching in a loud and busy Pret a Manager. I was prepared for the practical part to take place outdoors but not the complete course.

I have applied a package of 4 courses but the classes are postponing many times due to insufficient students. It is difficult to arrange my time to fit in the ever changing class schedule.

I was "lucky" that the group was a reduced size (only 1 person), so I felt that Eleni had more time to spend with me. my experience was great but not sure how applicable it would be under other conditions. Many thanks to Eleni as she did a great job and was really helpful!

Bruno was great! Kept the instruction simple and clear and was very helpful if the practical side, explaining what was going well and how to make it better. 10/10.. I think the screen moved just as I went to click 10 so may have accidentally come up with a lower score than I meant to give.

Maurizio was great. He was super knowledgeable and able to share his understanding in a very easy for me to understand. He was great in the practical and encouraged us to think outside the box. Great chap!

Clear and concise teaching method. He hit the right level for the course and the students. As someone who has instructed adults professionally I found his style easy going and informative. I would add that some of the info graphs we were shown were extremely helpful and should be extended into the beginners course notes. I would also suggest that for the money the course should provide ready printed notes and note taking paper. The ability to further advertise the course to a wider audience through branded items is invaluable.

I enjoyed the course and learnt so many new techniques.. it has made me so much more enthusiastic about getting out with my camera.

Brilliant experience. Bruno was really approachable and friendly. He gave a lot attention to each of us and answered all our queries. He had a great sense of humour too!

Fabulous class! Would highly recommend. It’s a shame that the other classes aren’t till December and not in ordered. The 3rd classes is on 7th and the 2nd part is on the 14th December. Otherwise , it’s a great mini course!

Maurizio is very good. The fact that he brings his computer and lets you see the pictures on a big screen adds a lot to the class.

Eleni was fantastic and I learnt loads.

It was too much time to practice and reviewing the photos one by one. When I registered I expected more theory, explaining the different elements on more detail; not just a very, VERY high-level explanation; 75 minutes of practice and then 15 minutes individual review, and then waiting for 45 minutes for the others.

I have to say I am very disappointed with your school. I don't have anything against Maurizio, he is a very nice guy however he is not an architect photographer and I did not learn anything about architecture photography. Very unprofessional of you cancelling my initial Portrait course and bouncing back and forth and after booking a course that I didn't want to do in the 1st place you get a teacher who does a completely different genre of photography (photojournalist) to do an architecture photography course. I think this was an absolute waste of time and I could've spend my money and time with a different course. I would like my money back. I think you have a long way to go from organising your courses to finding qualified photographers to teach the course.

Confusion at start as not clear where we were meeting - so inadvertently joined portrait class for a bit. Far too long talking about photo journalism and too little time spent taking pictures. No suitable facilities for review at the end of the exercise.

I did learn a lot but it was very unfortunate that the class was so large and the weather was so cold and grey. Also I had two classes following each other due to the limited scheduling available and it was a lot to take in mentally for the first time in one day. Eleni was well educated and a good teacher but due to not being able to photograph inside and large groups I did not feel I gained the most I could from the class.

The course was good but using a public place for the technical training was not the best way of learning. Getting a place to listen after lunch and at the end was not great

The introductory class was good, Maurizio is very knowledgeable and I now know how to use some of my camera settings. However, I was expecting a bit more from the Photo Academy: the class took place in a busy coffee place - I was surprised that for the price paid, the photo academy wasn't able to provide a class/private space with a screen/board where the teacher could take us through the materials. Rather, the teacher had to go through the materials using his small laptop screen while we gathered close to it (it was impossible to read the materials properly). The photo academy could have also printed copies of the booklet for us to follow the class and take notes. It just didn't feel like an "academy", but like an informal class with a photographer. If that's the idea behind the photo academy, then perhaps it could be better explained in the website to manage expectations.

Elenor was a great teacher for beginners as she used very simple technical terms and was ready to answer to everyone’s questions. She was patient and very hands on with every student. I would attend another class of hers

It was a very nice experience. Maurizio was very nice and he touched us many professional tips I have never thought about. I would hight recommend him and I hope to have him as a tutor for further classes.

We were only 2 participants, so was difficult to model for everyone.

I had a course with Christopher St John, not Christopher Schild.... But nevertheless the course was very good

Bruno was great in his teachings, very well informative and really supportive! I would highly recommend him, and would love for him to teach me again on the next occasion.

It was great, the choice of location couldn't be better. The instructor successfully understood my expectations and needs and was able to deliver exactly that.

Bruno delivered the content exactly as we needed. He provided theoretical concepts using his camera and visuals and then allowed us to test what was taught. He was patient, friendly and knew his craft. Thank you Bruno.

I am really not satisfied with this course. I can accept that neither computers or software are provided, but the fact that there is no private venue is not excusable for this price. We spent 20-30 minutes looking for a table and a power outlet in a public place, that should really not happen. Any other photography or software course I’ve taken had at least a room booked. The course itself was kind of ok - Maurizio is a nice guy, but 5 hours were certainly not needed to cover the 2-3 areas we discussed. The curriculum needs to be better structured and planned, as it stands currently it’s just a bad use of time.

Bruno was very friendley, approachable, obviously knowledgeable and it was great that we could cater the course for exactly what was required for our business. cannot recomend Bruno enough 5*

the size of the group was perfect and the practice time was great.

The photographer I was with, Maurizio Martorana, was incredibly helpful, he was very enthusiastic and easy to talk to and gave great advice, I can now say, that because of him and his directions I can use my camera confidently (in manual mode).
