What you'll be able to do
Our artistic development pack is designed for people who want to discover the multiplicity of styles and approaches in the world of photography.
In order to "sharpen your eye", and to find the inspiration necessary for your photographic development, THE PHOTO ACADEMY invites you to join a foursome of workshopes corresponding to your ambitions as a photographer....
Of course, the desire to develop a specific theme is not a required condition to create your artistic development package ; the pure and simple desire to discover photographic art is just as honorable !
How it works?
- In order to follow our artistic development workshops in good conditions, it is necessary to properly control your camera, and to be able to use it in manual mode.
- Each course that can be included in the artistic development pack last 3h30.

Street photography for all
This 3.5h course was built for people wishing to learn street photography, by discovering its history, its great figures, and through accompanied practice.
Technical prerequisites for this workshop: To have followed our beginner workshops (1,2,3 & 4) or to have been introduced to the photographic technique by another means.
Reminder: An appointment form will be sent a few days before the date of each workshop, with the exact location of the meeting and the contact details of the teacher. It is quite possible to follow two 3.5 hour workshops in the same day or four workshops in the same weekend as these workshops have been designed for this rhythm. Our classes are group classes, so there is a minimum number of participants required to maintain the session. If the number of students is less than 3, the session is likely to be postponed.
It is possible to take part in this course with a film camera, but it will not be possible for your instructor to review the images.
Please note that we do NOT lend cameras or accessories
Minor participants can participate in our courses (under condition, see article here in our help centre).
Portrait
Sometimes, the simplest photos are the hardest ones to take. How do you take an impeccable portrait of a loved-one or of a friend on the spot, and only with the help of natural lighting? How do you end up with an expressive and successful portrait without the aid of a studio? Rest assured, you will find the answer in the Portrait workshop!
Technical prerequisites for this workshop: To have followed our beginner workshops (1,2,3 & 4) or to have been introduced to the photographic technique by another means.

Number of hours for this course - 3.30 hours. Depending on the number of students, the course can be completed in 2.30 hours, 3 hours or 3.30 hours. Our classes are group classes, so there is a minimum number of participants required to maintain the session. If the number of students is less than 3, the session is likely to be postponed.

Composition for all
Some photographs spontaneously attract the viewer's attention. The eye circulates through it according to a composition that establishes this invisible link between the visual path and the reading of images. The composition work transforms and accentuates the relationship to reality by favoring axes, lines, entrances and traffic. These are the few essential points that we will propose to you to improve.

Black and white
Do you like black & white rendering and wish to improve your skills in monochrome photography? Accompanied by a professional photographer, you will learn how to sublimate your black & white compositions during this workshop.
