Sudhendu “Kash” Kashikar

My passion for photography comes from a deep desire to express my love of nature. It is also a personal development journey – a journey that continuously challenges and helps me improve my creative, artistic, and storytelling abilities.
Landscape photography provides me with an avenue to really connect with nature, to appreciate the incomparable, exquisite and unparalleled beauty that surrounds us. To be out in the natural world among the mountains, the trees, the lakes and even the cities and parks we have built is one of life’s most satisfying things. Nature is my sanctuary. The ability to articulate these places and experiences in photographs and express them as art is how I show my gratitude, feel grateful, and stay connected to the things that are important to me.
What does it mean to capture the moment-, to capture the feelings-, to capture the inherent beauty? I am fascinated by the play of light, reflection, and movement; by the mood and beauty in nature – which I define loosely as everything that surrounds my daily existence.
I strive to improve my understanding of this art for every time I pick up the camera. There is a lot more to learn and these images are just the beginning.
